Senshi Karate Dojo

At Senshi Karate Dojo we study the art of Isshin Ryu Karate. This combined with the basic elements of Kobudo (weapons) and Jujutsu (close quarter fighting and grappling) make for a well rounded style and practitioner.

Isshin Ryu is considered a “Budo” Karate. While it is impossible to describe what this means in a few sentences it refers to “Living The Martial Way”. Using traditional training to strengthen ones body and spirit to face all challenges. By adhering to these methods we insure that not only our skills and technique improve with training, but also our physical and mental condition.

There are no “gimmes” in our school. All students are held to the same standard. Every goal is earned and you can take pride in the fact you will be fully capable of representing the rank you are entrusted with in any venue. When you reach the rank of black belt at Senshi Dojo your years of hard work and dedication will be obvious by your skills and demeanor as a martial artist and a person. You will be the best person you can be and ready to begin the next part of your journey as a capable, knowledgeable, black belt. Osu!
