Nourishing your optimal health - Every person has unique health needs, to which Serenity Family Wellness offers a variety of Western and Eastern medical treatments. We provide highly personalized, holistic diagnose and solutions seeking to improve the quality of your health.

During your first (one-hour) appointment, Drs Tohtz and Alexandria will determine the cause of your health issues. We'll understand your health history and conduct an examination consisting of but not limited to: full body physical, postural analysis, neurological/orthopedic procedures, muscle testing and functional biomechanics. Depending on your condition, a radiological exam or bloodwork and salivary hormone testing may be ordered offsite to rule out any pathology.

Once the doctors have evaluated your test results, you will receive a detailed explanation of all findings and their importance. She will determine whether Serenity Family Wellness can help you, or if a referral can better manage your issues.

Exam findings will inform your treatment protocol, as each case is unique. You’ll receive options on best treatment courses, and an explanation as to what to expect regarding your recovery. Short and long-term goals will be discussed with any other questions you may have.

Treatment is defined according to your specific condition, and may consist of spinal manipulation, manual myofascial therapy, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, self-treatment advice, therapeutic modalities, nutritional/dietary recommendations, supplements or herbal preparations and rehabilitation protocols.

There are two types of care you may receive at Serenity Family Wellness: Active Treatment Course, and Wellness Care.

In an Active Treatment Course, we will focus on relieving, correcting and stabilizing your condition. In thirty-minute visits, we'll review your progress, reassess your condition, adjust treatment plan if needed, and render treatment. Short and long-term goals will be discussed every two to four visits to ensure your healthcare goals are achieved.

Once your condition has been stabilized, we'll focus on maintaining your health status, during 30-minute appointments. Wellness Care programs are not covered by insurance plans, and vary from monthly to quarterly care based on your specific needs.
