Our Local History:

In January 1988, Jerry and Lisa Winkley, along with their two infant sons, moved to Wichita from a small farm community to start their ServiceMaster business. They had no existing customers, phone number or income, but decided to step out on God’s promise from Matthew 6:33: “But seek first God’s kingdom, and His righteousness, and all these things (i.e. you daily needs) will be added unto you.”

Jerry and Lisa grew the business into a top provider of cleaning and 24-hour restoration services, with four franchises listed among the ServiceMaster Top 50 (selected from thousands of locations nationwide).

In August 2014, ServiceMaster Clean in a Wink became the second branch location in the U.S. ServiceMaster Clean and ServiceMaster Restore corporate headquarters purchased the Wichita-based franchise from Jerry and Lisa and named Butch Mattson – himself a member of the ServiceMaster Clean in a Wink team for more than twelve years – as general manager. Mattson, along with the local team, continues to provide top-notch quality services throughout South Central Kansas.

ServiceMaster Clean in a Wink is a leading training organization in Insurance Continuation Education (CE), teaching agents about fire & water restoration, mold remediation, and other industry related topics. We host monthly approved continuing education classes for various levels of professional certification and team with other industry leaders to provide project management training on industry topics.
