Seton's Family Carnival is a community event created by members of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (SEAS). Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish was established on June 6, 1978 by Bishop Thomas J. Mardaga. In the early days, the founding members worshiped in the Pleasantville Elementary School. In 1980 the community moved to a new multi-purpose facility on the parish grounds off Route 7 in Bear. In response to the rapid growth of the area, the building was expanded and additional classrooms added in 1985. In 1988 the parish decided to expand the events of SEAS parish to include an annual family carnival. Come out and join us at this community event in Bear.
