I started my Upholstery and drapery business when I was 16 years of age, totally by accident. I upholstered my own sofa and made new drapes for my house and when a neighbor saw what I did, well then she wanted me to do hers and then her friends saw my work and it took off from there and it has supported me and my three beautiful girls while they were growing up. When they moved out of home onto their own lives then I moved here to Morehead City to be with my aging parents and met my wonderful other half and now living in Havelock, NC. I work out of my garage and it allows me to have my prices just a little lower than the Upholstery shops everywhere else. I don't carry fabric so that leaves you the opportunity to buy what you want at cheaper prices.
