Sew

I am the singing seamstress. I started making bags because I was running from my sewing jobs during the day to my jazz gigs at night. I needed a bag big enough to hold my sewing kits, possibly a garment or two, a change of shoes plus my microphone, my iPad as well as anything else that I happened to need during my typical 10-14 hour day. Aside from that, I am a big animal lover and I was trying to transition from using or buying leather. I wanted a bag that could fit all that stuff without looking like I was fleeing an unhappy home. Everything I found in stores was either cheaply made, ridiculously expensive, or ugly. I also really love brightly colored outfits so my options were diminishing... So I made myself a gig bag. After a friend saw it and liked it, he offered to pay me to make one… 10 friends later I was getting more orders for bags than clothing and I started making them in larger quantities. The clutch bags became the next obvious step because I always like a pop of color when I am out on the town and the smaller bags double as organizers inside my larger bags. I can color code each of my mini bags and the best part is when I look inside my big bag there is a pocket for each of the things I need to access quickly. Thank you for visiting my page.
