The SGI-USA Tacoma Buddhist Center is the central Buddhist meeting and gathering place for local SGI-USA Buddhist members. Members come to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo together, hold Buddhist study and encouragement meetings and more.

The SGI-USA Bookstore inside the Tacoma Buddhist Center carries many items for local members to purchase to use for their Buddhist practice. (Such as Lotus Sutra Prayer Books, books on study, Buddhist altars and accessories, prayer beads, candles, incense and more.)
