Shakedown Steaks

Shakedown Steaks was born on a sand bar just off the Florida Keys. It was the, slightly inebriated, vision of man without a plan. Now, however, it is a dream, and a plan, coming to fruition.
Although the concept has been through a great many changes, and we haven’t even launched yet, we know that this town has got some heart, “you just gotta poke around.” Well, poke around we have! From the Meadowlands in ’89 to Chicago in’16, we have prowled the lots of countless shows and festivals.
In the process, we have sampled, experimented with, and developed some amazing recipes. We specialize in cheesesteaks made with thinly shaved eye round and freshly diced peppers and onions. It is all blended to melty perfection with creamy, sharp, aged cheese, and guaranteed to make your taste buds twirl in the aisle.
In addition to our menu staples, Chef Tim is always mixing together different ingredients, whipping up new specials, and putting his spin on old favorites. We strive to be unique, and eclectic, while we promise to be eccentric and experimental.
