Birth Doula care is non-medical support during pregnancy and birth.

I can assist you in finding all the information you need to achieve a level of comfort throughout pregnancy and in preparation for the birth of your child.

I can provide physical support during labor for the birthing parent and partner. I can offer suggestions to enhance labor and ease discomfort. I am able to offer skills gained as a result of a 20+ year career in physical therapy and more recently in massage therapy.

I aim to get to know my clients so that I may better understand your needs and offer you tailored support.

Doula support will culminate with a post-partum visit to check in, talk about your birth experience, and focus on infant care and feeding. I have several wonderful recommendations for Postpartum Doula Care if you are interested.

I believe that every birth experience is special and one-of-a-kind. I believe in supporting my clients to create a birth that is right for them. As much as I believe that birth can happen with little to no medical intervention, I recognize and support intervention as an asset to complicated pregnancies and birthing situations. I respect the informed decision making process and the recommendations of medical care professionals.

Massage Therapy and Body Work services include relaxation and deep tissue massage as well as skilled fascial release and craniosacral therapy for whatever ails you. I have studied and cared for the human body on a physical level for greater that 20 years and would be happy to assist you on your path toward better physical health.
