Shea Mcjagger at Salon Sovay

I have 21 years of experience in the beauty industry. Some of my career highlights include being Art Director for Toni & Guy Salon, creating hair and makeup looks for film and magazines, teaching at 2 top salons in New York City, and extensive training under the biggest names in the business.

Most recently, (January 2014), I left my position as Master Educator of advanced color and hair design for AVEDA to return to the salon full-time. My love for working behind the chair and making people feel and look spectacular has become my number one focus and passion.

"I like to think of my hair designs as couture- one of a kind, tailor made exclusively for the person in front of me. It's an art, a sculpture, a painting on live, organic, ever changing fabric. Every person that sits in my chair brings a new challenge, and I love to see what we can come up with together... It's a collaboration of three personalities: you, me and your hair!".

I currently practice my art at Salon Sovay in south central Austin. Consultations are always free... I would love to meet you and make your day!
