Our mission is "TO KNOW GOD AND TO MAKE HI"> Shekijah Preparation Assembly is an anointed prophetic ministry with members spanning former mainline denominations such as Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, etc. who have desired to break barriers of race, and traditionalism as well, and come together to give God the praise, glory, and honor, with one unified voice. We recognize that our ultimate goal is to live with Christ in Heaven some day and we must begin here on Earth.

Birthed in May, 1987, Shekijah is now a ministry that is still growing, and full of born-again baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Our founder and senior pastor, Bishop Terence M. Sykes, is an anointed and gifted preacher and musician. Along with his wife of 30 years, Co-Pastor Shereé S. Sykes, the two of them are truly a “dynamic duo”.

Shekijah is also the headquarters church of the Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America, Inc. (Virginia District).

All are welcome to come by for anointed teaching, preaching, music, fellowship, and a touch from Almighty God! Shekijah means "God Dwells Here!" and, indeed, He does!!!

Shekijah is a unique and very distinctive inter-denominational fellowship of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, who love Him with all of their hearts, and who love His people, as well. Using God-given gifts, Shekijah is a well-rounded church, strong in His Faith and full of His Power. With it's anointed teaching, music, and various ministries, she attracts young and old alike and is an exhorter to Godly and victorious living, resulting in abundant and Eternal LIFE.
