Shelby Sod Company, Inc.

Shelby Sod Company began in 1997 near the town of Harpersville, AL., in Shelby County. We currently grow Tifway 419 Bermuda, Zoysia, & Centipede. All land is irrigated with center pivot systems or hard hose reels and fixed irrigation guns. Most of the sod we grow is sold in Jefferson and Shelby County, however in recent years sales have grown significantly in other central Alabama counties but mostly in the Birmingham area. The majority of our sod is sold to either professional landscapers or homeowners for new home construction.
