The Shelterhouse Resale Shop is now open in the Kmart Plaza at 1830 South Saginaw Road. It features gently used clothing at value prices, with a boutique feel that redefines resale shopping in the area.

There is a Growing Need for Shelterhouse Services

• Served 13,700 people from Midland & Gladwin counties in 2012 - up 4% from 2011
• Answered 1,944 crisis calls in 2012 – up 25.8%from 2011
• Provided 4,546 nights of safety – up 12% from 2011

The resale shop will help us create a sustainable income. Fundraisers have been successful, and support has been generous, but demand for services is on the rise, federal funding is on the decline, and we have to get more resourceful. All profits will sustain Shelterhouse’s programs and services. Clients will receive needed items at no cost.
