Sherwood Sporthorses is a quality European-based barn that specializes in Hunter/Jumper and Dressage. It is located between The Woodlands and Magnolia, TX. The stables is situated on 32 beautiful acres with everything necessary to train both horses and riders and allow them to reach their highest potential whether it is in the show ring or riding non-competitively. Training is offered for all levels of horses from green to Grand Prix and for all levels of riders from beginner to advanced. Lessons are customized to suit each individual’s needs. Equally importantly, the horses receive exceptional care. We work very hard to provide a safe, friendly and relaxing atmosphere for boarders and horses alike.

Joanna (Jo) Schroeder is the owner and trainer of Sherwood Sporthorses. Her extensive equestrian background allows her to combine European structure and American flair in her teaching methods. She is a very talented instructor who believes that a rider should be encouraged to enjoy the journey with his or her horse while they work to meet established goals.
