We also carry a few locally-made products, such as organic soaps and jewelry. Each vendor has a unique interest, so every corner of the store features different items. Our location inside the old hardware store has added to the rustic, timeless feel of our store. So come on in, step back into history and discover something you love!

Since 2011, my team and I have spent countless hours completely revamping the store. From painting, rebuilding and refurnishing, we have worked hard to bring you a richer shopping experience in a beautifully re-done building. Throughout the whole process, we kept the feel of the past in mind.

In addition to our historic building, we are lucky to be located in 2011's Coolest Small Town, Hammondsport, NY. Here in Hammondsport, the history runs deep and you can see and feel it everywhere you go. It is truly a town where time goes by just a little slower. With this in mind, Shethar 57 is a store where history is celebrated.

I also have a passion for restoring old furniture. You will find a few pieces in Shethar 57, including a beautifully restored maple-top butcher's block table and a re-purposed wooden desk. I take great care in using the best methods and tools to create my refurnished pieces.
