Shield of Faith Christian Center Inc

Statement of Belief: Shield of Faith Christian Center is a Full Gospel, nondenominational church founded on Christian principles. We believe and practice putting the Word into action by being doers of the Word and not just hearers only (James 1:22). We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God and that there is one God eternally existent in the three persons: God the Fatherr, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus' virgin birth, his miracles, his vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, his ascension to the right hand of the Father and He will return to this earth in power and glory to rule over nations. We also believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in water baptism, which means to immerse, dip or to cover wholly with fluid. In addition, we believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body and that the baptism of the Holy Spirit (with the evidence of speaking in tongues), according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. We also believe in prophecy that is the inspired declaration of devine will and purpose and used to confirm the Word of God.
