Located in downtown’s historic Mansion Flat neighborhood, Shine is a welcoming community gathering space to celebrate local food, drink, music, and art. Never stiff or pretentious, Shine is a friendly, casual, comfortable spot where you will always be greeted with a smile. We are a fiercely independent, local family-operated cafe, art gallery, and live music venue. We like to have a lot of fun in here. Join us!

We proudly serve both Temple and Naked coffee – the best coffee in Sacramento! We open at 7 AM on weekdays, so stop in, say hello, and get a delicious cup of award winning coffee for your morning commute.

We also have local craft BEERS ON TAP so be sure to stop by for a cold one!

We host Sacramento’s coolest OPEN JAZZ JAM every Thursday evening; Speak Out! Sacramento (free open mic night) on 1st & 3rd Wednesday nights, Sacramento's Naked Narratives (spoken word, storytelling) every 2nd & 4th Wednesday, and live music from local and touring acts alike on Friday and Saturday nights.
