Shoot the Light Instructional Photographic Workshops and Technical Series places a special emphasis is placed on creating images with Visual and Emotional Impact; using creative techniques, compositional elements and light to design in-camera images that are a cut above.

Light quantity, quality and direction should be assessed independently, although together they render the image. The amount of illumination determines the exposure, while the quality and direction of the light source relative to my position renders the scene and subject as viewed. Being aware of the lighting direction relative to the subject will allow you to choose a camera position that will enhance your unique vision, as well as the subject.
