Shore Tire Company

Shore Tire Company has been located at 9300 Marshall Drive in Lenexa, KS for the last 69 years as an auto repair center and tire dealer. Since the beginning, our business has been focused on building strong customer relationships and providing the highest quality of workmanship on each and every automotive repair.

Waldo G. Shore opened a wholesale tire outlet, named Gillette Tire Sales Company, on East 31st St. in Kansas City, MO in 1946. After 13 successful years, Shore changed the name to the Shore Tire Company, Inc. and expanded the operation.

Sales grew through the years and, more than five decades later, what was once a small tire shop has become one of the largest independent tire distributors in the Midwest, with more than 800 active dealer accounts throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Christopher Shore, grandson of Waldo, is now president of Shore Tire Company. George Shore, Waldo’s son, recently retired from the business after serving as president for 35 years. Offering a wide variety of tire and related products and services, Shore Tire is located in Lenexa, KS, just off 95th St. and Interstate 35, and employs more than 45 people.

Not only do we have one of the largest automotive shops in the Kansas City area, but we also have one of the largest in-store tire inventories. With so many different tire brands and sizes right here in our facility, we’re sure to have the right tire for your vehicle.

We are members of Olathe and Lenexa Chambers of Commerce. We’ve been serving the area since 1946, and what a life it’s been!
