Shonna has always loved taking photos "just for fun," but in 2011 her mother noticed Shonna truly had an eye for capturing nature. Photos Shonna was taking "just for fun" looked as if they should be featured in books and magazines. Shonna's mother then began to encourage Shonna's creative and eccentric spirit to shine through. That is when ShorterSky Photography was manifested. The name ShorterSky is a combination of Shonna's last name and her best friend's first name that passed away in elementary school.
