A Little About Me.
My name is Bernadette, and I have been in love with photography for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life not a moment went uncaptured as my Dad was always behind his camera. From an early age I learned the true value of a photograph, and its importance to a family. Thumbing through a multitude of old photographs, I learned the lives of loved ones who had long been gone. Though they were gone, they were not forgotten seeing that they lived on in a moment of time forever frozen. As I grew older I became more and more intrigued with photography, until one day I immersed myself into the art after purchasing my first DSLR camera. From that moment on, there was no turning back. Everywhere I went, my camera was in tow. It began with scenery, wildlife, old buildings and everything from the forest to the river. I was finally able to share my view of the world as seen through my camera lens. Over time friends and family saw my work and asked for their own images to be immortalized. As the years went by my experience grew, as did my clientele. After nearly a decade of shooting, I find myself perfecting my craft as clients become friends, and friends become family. I have preserved images for families that began with a simple maternity shoot, only to continue on for years as I continue to watch their children grow, become siblings, and even little adults. I could not ask for a more rewarding way of life, and my clients are the best to be found. I have experience shooting a wide spectrum of subjects including landscapes, motorcycles, beauty, children and families, weddings, maternity, pets and much more. I intend to capture endless memories for the rest of my life, and hope to leave behind an amazing story when my children and their children are thumbing through my life’s work.
