Josie Wright, Owner & Master Stylist, has worked in the beauty industry for the past 30 years. Originally trained and licensed in New York, Josie made Bluffton her home at the end of 2006. Her love for the ocean air, sunshine and beach made her feel more at “home”. Josie was born and raised in Lyon, France after her family immigrated from Sicily, Italy. At the age of 15, Josie and her immediate family made the journey to the United States to pursue their American Dream. This trilingual (Italian, French & English) artist began her education at the Contemporary School of Beauty in Syracuse, New York and continues with the industries leading professionals. This master stylist specializes in color and the razor cut technique. Her love for her career and art behind the hair, fills the atmosphere at Silhouette Hair Studio.

Renee Cannata, Owner & Stylist, discovered her passion for the beauty industry 6 years ago while still living in Syracuse, New York, where she was born and raised. Striving for better opportunity, she moved to the Lowcountry in 2010 and has never turned back. Specializing in color, Renee is always on top of current trends and styles with continuous education across the nation. Learning new techniques and perfecting her skills are important to this ambitious artist. When she’s not creating a masterpiece, she enjoys exploring the world, as well as this paradise she calls home.
