Silly Hill Farm

We are a new, organic but not certified, backyard hobby farm located in Ashville, Al. We are named after the homestead/farm where my mother lived as a child. The original Silly Hill was located off of Old Highway 20 in Leighton, Al. My grandfather was a sharecropper and at various times grew corn, watermelon and cotton at the foot of the hill. On our Silly Hill we grow a variety of vegetables and are going to be incorporating a few fruits. We will also be producing baked goods as well as bath and body products. We'll be selling at the local farmers market or you can shop our bath products directly from this site so check in with us to see what we have available. We are certified under the Alabama Cottage Food Law as well as in the Acidified Foods Manufacturing School through the FDA and the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service.
