Silver Knight Equestrian

My name is Linna M. Sewell, head trainer and operator of Silver Knight Arabians. This has been a life dream of mine and I am very excited to take this step of life and welcome you on an adventurous journey. SKA is geared for horse lovers of all ages and stages of riding, to let the experience and enjoyment be something that will never be forgotten. My goal for this stable will be to create a humbling environment and for everyone involved to come together as a family. I want all participants to learn and experience the joys of not just riding a horse but how to care and mange these wonderful animals.

For a glimpse of my background, I began riding nineteen years ago and immediately fell in love with the sport. My training then went on to starting my show career at a very early age. I competed at regional and national level for many years and did very well. In my junior rider years I mainly concentrated in the discipline of Hunter Pleasure and Hunt Seat Equitation. Even at this young age and just beginning my career, I knew that I wanted to reach out to other disciplines and learn the ways of other great trainers of the sport. I traveled to many highly respected trainers, even lived with a few to truly get the experience that I was searching for to learn every in and out of horse training and care. During this period I studied Saddleseat, Western Pleasure, Halter, Showmanship, Working Hunter, Dressage, and Horsemanship. With the wonderful foundation that I have been given by so many mentors and supporters I am very ready and anxious to become a mentor to other people that have the passion I do for the horse industry.
