Silvertown Baptist Church

Silvertown Baptist Church of Thomaston, Georgia is a body of believers who, having individually made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and having been scripturally baptized, are covenanted together before God as we are enabled by His Holy Spirit to:

* Live our lives under the lordship of Jesus Christ in every area.

* Accept the inerrant Word of God (that is, the Bible) as our authority for faith and everyday living.

* Follow and be equipped for service by the church leadership as they are lead by the Holy Spirit and the teachings of the Word of God.

* Maintain the unity of the body by acting in love toward other members, and finding our places of service within this part of the body of Christ.


Silvertown Baptist Church is voluntarily affiliated with the Centennial Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.


We host a free community soup kitchen every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Everyone is welcome.
