Hello all, my name is Lori Sadler and I am excited to venture into the world of small business via Facebook! A few tidbits about myself: I am a wife (to my sweet hubby, Scott) of almost 15 years and the mom of a beautiful (not so baby anymore) eleven year old girl, Katie Grace. My family is my heart and I love spending time with them - even though we do tend to get a little goofy. My faith is in my Lord and Savior - Jesus, I hope you know Him too! I am a teacher and love reading, learning new things, the beach and all things southern! I grew up in south Georgia and have spent the last seventeen years in central and north Florida. For the last 10 years my family and I have lived in a very rural town in north Florida called Mayo. Yes, Mayo, it is literally one of the most rural places in Florida, but we love it and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. So - as a hobby I love to craft and create pretty things. I love to paint and I will take a brush to most anything I think I can spruce up or bring to life. Lately my interest has led me to painting furniture. I have been redoing furniture for years - back when sanding and refinishing the surface meant lots of sandpaper and elbow grease. However, I have stumbled upon the most amazing paint ever - chalk paint! Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and wax are amazing products and I am having such a great time playing around with rich colors and clear and dark wax. If you see something you want to purchase from me please comment "sold" on the picture and the first person to do such will be deemed the new owner. I will request that you send me a PM with your email address so I can bill through Paypal. After payment is complete you are free to come pick up your new piece of furniture. I can hold a piece for you for two weeks after the purchase is made, but my space is limited so I can't keep it around for long.
If you have a piece of furniture of your own and want to bring it back to life, I will be glad to help you in that endeavor. I can take your piece of furniture and refurbish it with paint and wax in colors of your choosing. I will charge based on the size of the piece and how much product I think the project will take to complete. I can also add extra touches to the piece such as a wash, distress, or weathered look.
