So we set about finding the best product on the market to get us back on track. We did research... and not just a little. As a group of friends with degrees in various fields of science, we were well equipped to figure out the best solution.

What we quickly realized was that the industry was duping people. The basics of teeth whitening came down to a simple formula of the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and the amount and number of times it was applied.

We learned that the one of the reasons that most at home teeth whitening systems do not work is they use a weak peroxide formula to whiten your teeth. They do this for two reasons. One, so that they can sell you more product over a long period of time, and two, because they are afraid that if they use a stronger concentration you leave it on too long you will get gum irritation and tooth sensitivity, which is bad for everyone.

So we set down to figuring out a better solution. By using a special proprietary gel that breaks down in your mouth in exactly 30 minutes, Sirius Smiles is able to use the strongest peroxide formulation allowed by the FDA for home use, our concentration is only 2% less than what you pay the $500 for at your local dentist - but for much less.

We also decided against messy trays and strips. We decided to just use a paintbrush applicator, which is easier to use, you can get it on each tooth fully and doesn't waste any of the product.

Finally, decided to add a "born on" date. Our products are only sold within 30 days of making the gel. What this means is you get the product at the height of its potency and not 90 days or more after it sat on a shelf and weakened.
