Sometimes life pulls two people together and a bond is inevitable. In 2015, Zumba was the catalyst for bringing us together, now it's the tie that binds. Our love of dancing and Zumba is something we enjoy not just with each other, but with anyone interested in sharing our passion.

Founded by Sarah Kennedy and Jennifer Kline, Sizzle & Stomp encourages all kinds of fitness, although one does tend to rank very high in our hearts: Zumba� Fitness.

Come check out our classes! We are currently instructing at the Billings, MT West End Anytime Fitness. Starting June 5, 2017, Mondays and Wednesdays, come shake and shimmy with us from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for standard Zumba� classes. Tuesdays, come feel the burn from 5:30 to 6:30 pm with STRONG by Zumba�. First class is free! We will see you there!

"Dance with your heart and your body will follow"

I have always gravitated towards the Latin culture and the Spanish language. I was fortunate enough to travel around and live in rural Costa Rica after completing college at MSU-Billings. Upon returning home to Billings after 2 years, a piece of Costa Rica came with me.

The life style and live and let live Pura Vida attitude allowed me to live simpler and healthier. I was employed as a tour guide for an outdoor adventure shop where I guided kayak, mountain bike and stand-up-paddle (SUP) tours. During my off hours, I indulged in the local dancing and music—its fun, sexy and sultry style! Through these experiences, I was led to Zumba� Fitness.

While in Costa Rica, I taught Zumba at a 4 Star Hotel and at an outdoor fitness center—surrounded by palm trees, warm sand, and the ocean waves, I found my paradise. It was important to me to be involved with the local community and be a part of my immediate neighborhood. There were few options for the locals, so through a non-profit organization I volunteered my Zumba� skills.

I am a licensed instructor in both Zumba� Basic 1 and 2, Step and STRONG by Zumba. I am excited to be here in Billings and share a class with you!

“Dance first. Think later. It’s the natural order.”

My love of dancing stems from childhood. As a kid, I was involved in group dance which included the loud, colorful costumes, the ballet slippers and tap shoes, and the recitals. Even today, when certain songs come on the radio, the dances I memorized back in the day will suddenly pop in my head.

Dancing has always been something that brings joy to my life. I am that crazy person that will dance through a department store, twirl around in the kitchen while cooking, or even groove in my seat in the car or at work. Something that so easily brings a smile to your face should always be done without thought – and I practice that notion frequently.

Naturally, working out for me has always steered toward dancing, starting with DVDs like Turbo Jam at home. A friend of mine from Florida was always talking about Zumba and I had contacted her about suggestions on Zumba DVDs to add to my collection. She simply said, “No. You HAVE to go check out a class!”

January of 2015, I marched into my first Zumba class, not having a single clue as to what to expect. By the end of that first hour, I knew I was hooked. Within a few short months I had befriended my instructor – a friendship that has grown stronger through our love of dance – and now we’re pairing up to bring you Sizzle & Stomp, what we hope will be a motivation for all those interested in or already in love with this awesome program!

I am now a licensed instructor in Zumba� Basic 1, and I cannot wait to pass my love of this awesome fitness program to more people!
