As the founder of SKIN & TONIC I want to welcome you! Thank you for taking a moment to visit our website.

My name is Valerie Johnson and I set out on this journey to find a small space to call my own. A place where I could treat and pamper my clients the way I would want to be. When I walked into the now SKIN & TONIC space, I got chill bumps and instantly 'knew' this was the space where I was meant to begin my journey. It is small, yet big enough that I could see myself and my business able to grow there. I hope you enjoy being here as much as I do!

I have been a licensed Full Specialist in the state of Florida since 1999. For years I focused my business on nails and pedicures and did not fully utilize the esthetician portion of my licensing. I love doing nails but I desired to see what else was available to me outside of the local beauty salon. I went to work at the Grand Floridian Resort Spa at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and received training in numerous product lines and learned a wide variety of techniques that I still use today in both skin and nail care. I later went on to be employed at another prestigious spa at The Wyndham Grand at Bonnet Creek in Orlando, where I continued to grow my knowledge of various product lines and protocols. While I loved servicing the touring clients at these locations, I missed the one on one connection that comes with having a loyal clientele that I could see on a regular basis in order to help them reach all of their own personal beauty goals.

I have always strived to create lasting relationships with my clients by providing them with beyond excellent care, treatments and of course a hug! I love my clients and I am so grateful for each one! My hope is that you will feel you are in great hands with a specialist that will help you attain all of your skin, hand and feet ambitions.
