The goal of Skipper Enterprises is to provide the best experience possible for our clients. We want to make your life easier. To do this we offer complete management service or will consult with owners and/or managers on specific property management tasks.

Skipper Enterprises is a small family owned Ranch and Property management firm in North East Texas. Owner Roger Skipper has been managing ranches and properties in North East Texas for over 20 years. Roger is a third generation rancher, holds a Masters of Science in Agriculture, is a Former Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent and Ranch Manager for a large ranch in North Texas. Roger has the work ethic and values to help you succeed in building what you want in your property.

Ranch & Property Consulting & Management
If you just need assistance in the management decisions and exploring options for your property, we can assist you. Roger Skipper has 10 years experience in consulting with all sizes and types of properties and use.
Our Ranch and Property Management services start with a plan. We will sit down with you and help clarify the goals that you wish to achieve for the ranch operation. We can assist you in developing a resource inventory, including existing physical and human resources, and natural resources including water, vegetation and wildlife. Does the client wish to raise cattle? What are the priorities for real estate improvements? What about brush and pasture management? If your desire is a recreational ranch with wildlife as a big component, Skipper Enterprises can assist you in developing a wildlife plan, including food plots and hunting agreements. Finally, a successful ranching operation like any other business requires accurate record keeping and accounting practices. Skipper Enterprises works with the clients' CPA to provide a program customized to the clients requirements.


Livestock & Forage
If the ranch owner wants to develop a cattle or horse enterprise, Skipper Enterprises will make recommendations and assist you in the purchase and maintenance of quality livestock according to your goals. If the property already has livestock on the premises, which the client does not want to maintain, Skipper Enterprises will arrange for the dispersal of those livestock. If the client does not want to develop a livestock operation, we can also arrange for leasing of the grass.

Cattle: Skipper Enterprises provides a lifetime of experience and education in cattle management. We will assist you in building and the daily maintenance of a quality beef cattle herd. Skipper Enterprises can help you improve an existing commercial or registered cattle herd through finding the best genetics, either through the purchase of top bulls to utilizing Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer for herd improvement.

Horses: If horses are your interest, we assist in purchasing the best horse for your needs or work with trusted trainers and breeders to improve your horses for recreation or performance.

Forage and Pasture Management: The key to any successful business is a good foundation. Proper forage and pasture management is a major part of a good foundation on any livestock operation. We can provide the knowledge and experience in pasture management, from quality forage and hay production to brush management, land reclamation and water resources.

Wildlife and Recreation
An enjoyable wildlife and recreation ranch takes planning and development. Whether its food plots and cover for wildlife or trails for walking, riding horses or riding atv’s, we assist in the development of a plan and put in place the resources that will make your experience enjoyable and comfortable.

Construction & Maintenance
Construction and maintenance on farms and ranches can be a daunting task. We make that task easier by assisting you in the planning and construction or maintenance of the facilities. From your Ranch House to Barns, Outbuildings and Fencing, we can arrange for all your construction and maintenance needs.
