Owner/Photographer of Skysight Photography is Autumn Stankay.

Autumn is a portrait & fine art photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is founder of SkySight Photography, one of the region's most accomplished & innovative portrait studios. For over ten years, Autumn has specialized in combining her whimsical style with cutting edge fashion concepts & design. She is known for her work with wedding clients, parents with newborn babies & young children, boudoir portrait sessions and a variety of other fine art projects & collaborations.

Autumn believes in capturing genuine moments through her photography, shaping her images with natural light and bold color. Her customized studio environments are designed to maximize comfort during a session, allowing a subject's individual personality to take center stage. Autumn's studio is equipped with a vast array of vintage props, unique backdrops & modern set designs. She also incorporates many outdoor locations into her work, using the beauty of the natural world as the ultimate organic studio set.

As one of Pittsburgh's busiest wedding photographers, Autumn has worked with over 250 couples since 2005. She has used the city's unique architecture of bridges & historic buildings to add a timeless dramatic flair to her client's most precious memories. She has also enjoyed many opportunities to work with couples located around the United States, shooting destination weddings stunning mountain landscapes & pristine beaches.

Autumn's work as a fine art photographer has taken her to exotic locations such as Morocco, Venice, Iceland, France, Alaska & the remote Arctic region of Svalbard. She frequently works with her husband, Bill Stankay, as a part of Stankay Photography - a creative partnership formed out of many years of collabaration in the visual arts as husband and wife.

Her artistic endeavors also include the Facing Hope project, an uplifting series of images & stories that tell the story of people battling cancer and the amazing ways in which the experience changes their lives forever. Autumn has recently finished her first book in the series entitled "Facing Hope: The Cancer Project", which is currently available for purchase in the Blurb bookstore.

Autumn has been fortunate to receive many accolades throughout her career. She was honored as the 2009 YWCA Rising Star, given to women who have achieved great success both in entrepenurial and philanthrophic endeavors. She served as the 2009 President of The Westmoreland Rotary, working within her local community to help those in need. She also serves on the board for the Blackburn Center for Domestic & Sexual Violence, helping to raise awareness about a cause very close to her heart.


Her fine art work received recognition in 2011 when she was named as a finalist in National Geographic’s “Expedition Moments” competition, where she received coverage for an image she captured in Morocco while traveling with National Geographic Photography Expeditions. She also has placed in several other photography competitions, including multiple placements in the top 3, throughout the course of her ten plus years in photography.


Autumn Stankay previously worked under her maiden name, Autumn DeLellis, until the summer of 2012.
