About our Sledge class:
This class is a fun dynamic workout 50 minutes of constant movement combining cardio kickboxing with Sledge Hammer drills that will burn more calories, build muscle and ramp up your cardio output!! This class taught at iFlextrain Fitness Gym is the first to offer such a combination of striking, kicking and Sledge Hammer drills!
The benefits of Sledge hammer (or chopping wood) training has been around for 100s of years...
What iFlextrain Fitness did was take all the benefits and minus out the negative to allow anyone the opportunity to train with a Sledge hammer!
We combined the hammer with the tire in one piece of equipment. Our rubber head will bounce off most objects it hits, without damage to floors, lawns, heavy bags or almost any solid foundation. Sledge Fitness Hammer weighs in at 3lbs and 6lbs. Think that's not "very heavy?" Haha, well give it a try! So... "WANNA GET HAMMERED?"
