Small Frye's Children Boutique

Once upon a time as a mother of two toddler girls, I had an idea. I envisioned a children’s boutique where I could find clothing for special occasions. Although there were several children’s clothing stores in the area at the time, none of them were dedicated to special occasion clothing. After discussing the idea with my husband and family, my idea became a reality and Small Frye’s Boutique opened its doors.

Established in 1986, the boutique has held the reputation as the area’s premier source for Christening and Communion Attire. Over the past twenty eight years many changes have occurred in the Children’s wear business. Chain stores and the internet have become the popular place for purchasing everyday apparel and many small stores were unable to sustain the competition. Because of the uniqueness of Small Frye’s Boutique, we were able to maintain our business and continue to grow.

Many babies arrive home from the hospital in an outfit from Small Frye’s Boutique. Birthday Boys and Girls celebrate in their attire and Birthday hats from Small Frye’s. Christmas and Easter Apparel also means a trip to Small Frye’s Boutique.

Changes have occurred in the twenty eight years, I now have three grown children and a grandson who steals my heart with his smile; but much has remained the same.

Small Frye’s Boutique still offers personal service, we still have a friendly, courteous, and experienced staff, we still provide free gift wrapping, we still have free parking, we still
have beautiful knits and take home outfits for boys and girls, and we still have the largest collection of special occasion, christening and communion clothing in the area.

Our customer have traveled from Harrisburg, Bloomsburg, Stroudsburg, New York and New Jersey for the vast selection of Communion and Christening attire. We have now expanded into children’s wedding attire. Flower girl and ring bearer apparel was a perfect addition to our boutique.
