Smart K9 Fargo

I am Emilee, 20, and like most people in the pet industry my deep care for animals came very early. Growing up we had hunting dogs, French Brittanys and I learned a bit about working dogs. After moving out of home I became the mom of a 6 year old Labrador PitBull Terrier Mix who is now off leash heal trained and has became my social butterfly. I stuck around the PitBull and Staffordshire Terrier companion dogs until very recently. Any challenge that I don't see fit for myself, will be referenced to Joe at Urban K9 Training, who is my mentor and who I am currently interning under.

I started diving in seriously about dog training in 2015 when I adopted ChaCha, my love. She sparked my love for training when we began working on her socialization, anxiety, and reactive behavior purely do to her years of neglect and abuse.

I am currently interning under a professional dog trainer in the Fargo Moorhead area. I am now handling mostly working dogs, hunting, drug inspection, guard, and police dogs ranging from German Shepherds, Border Collies to Labradors and Mix Breeds. I am also spending 60 hours a month working with Homeward Animal Shelter, rehabilitating behavioral problems.
