Smoked From Above BBQ & Ribs

Owners Lee and Michelle Holland opened the doors to Smoked From Above BBQ in May 2005. Previously at a different location until 2008 when we relocated to Landstown Commons, a large shopping center anchored by Kohls and Best Buy. We are located at the corner of Princess Anne and Dam Neck Rd. conveniently located close to the Virginia Beach Municipal Center, Princess Anne Hopsital, Virginia Beach Sportsplex, TCC and Farm Bureau Live Amphitheater.

We are a quick serve restaurant with a family atmosphere. We are smoke & alcohol free (but we do have take-out for those who would like to pop a cold one with their BBQ). All of our meats are smoked on site, and our rubs and sauces are of our own creation. We have award winning BBQ & ribs and also offer several delicious home-made sides.

Our future is bright as we continue to serve the Hampton Roads area. In the 11 years we have been in business, we have managed to win many awards for out BBQ and ribs, with our proudest one to date being voted #1 in Baby Back Ribs in our local newspaper taste test, as well as winner of Best of the Beach 10 years running and two-time winner of the Virginian Pilot Reader's Taste Test for Ribs.
