Smoky Mountain Deep Creek Gators Tubes

GATORS TUBES was started by retired NC Probation/Parole Officer John T. Cunningham in the Summer of 2012.
GATORS TUBES is honest about their posted prices. Any tube at GATORS is only $3.00 ALL DAY LONG. This includes tubes with a seat and backrest. GATORS filled their tube roster during Spring of 2012 with brand new tubes. GATORS added several new troops during the off season. All the tubes we put on the creek are in great condition. We also have a variety of brand new Coast Guard proved life jackets for kids. Most customers just want to float around the park but more and more customers are asking about THE LONGEST RIDE ON THE CREEK. Every tube center ties tubes on the vehicle with some sort of cord, twine, rope, string, etc. At GATORS we use parachute cord. You will receive personal attention while we tie the tubes to your vehicle. Some tube centers provide rolls of twine but there is nobody to provide instruction. At least one tube center is on an "honor system" and there is no one there at all to provide personalized service. We provide detailed maps of the park for free. Parking at GATORS is free. There is no fee for tubing in the park. The park has no entrance fee. The Long Ride float is over two hours from Indian Creek Falls, one hour and 45 minutes from the second bridge (near the large park parking area) and ninety minutes from the first bridge in the park that leads to the Ranger station. GATORS TUBES provides detailed maps that include every significant object in the park; both bridges, the large park parking area, campsites, etc. are clearly marked. You don't have to be Magellan to explore the park. The public access area is tiny. Indian Creek Falls is not a strenuous hike and it is only .7 of a mile. There is no hiking involved if you launch your tube at either of the bridges.
GATORS TUBES is a three minute drive from the park boundary. GATORS TUBES is a one minute drive from the train depot at Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. 334 West Deep Creek pulls up on GPS, Google Maps, Map Quest, etc. GATORS TUBES is the first tube rental center on Deep Creek. We are located directly across from the Swain County recreation park playground and swimming pool. GATORS TUBES is approximately a three minute drive to the large parking area in the park. PARKING IS FREE at GATORS TUBES. there is NO VEHICLE ACCESS TO ANY OF THE WATERFALLS IN THE PARK. you must park in the large parking area and walk to them.
