This alternative to traditional x-rays eliminates the discomfort of biting down on paper tabs that fit awkwardly into the mouth. Digital x-rays are taken with a small sensor that is placed inside the mouth and connected to a computer by a thin, unobtrusive wire. Not only is this much more comfortable for our patients, it also uses 80% less radiation.

Also, our use of the intra-oral camera allows our patients to receive the best care possible by revealing periodontal disease and tooth decay at their earliest stages. It’s an easy and accurate means of documentation that’s part of our superior long-term care process.
