What to expect when entering our dental office:

As a new patient we are wanting you to feel as comfortable as possible and give you the best service that you deserve.

1. Expect to fill out paperwork on medical history and have necessary Id or cards. ( ID, Medicaid Card, Insurance card etc.)

2.Next we take x-ray on limited or full exams
****Pregnant patients will require a consent from their OB/GYN

***Why are radiographs (X-Ray) are important :
In adults, dental X-rays can be used to:
-Show areas of decay that may not be visible with an oral exam, especially small areas of decay between teeth
-Identify decay occurring beneath an existing filling
-Reveal bone loss that accompanies gum disease
-Reveal changes in the bone or in the root canal resulting from infection
-Assist in the preparation of dentures, or other dental procedures
-Reveal an abscess (an infection at the root of a tooth or between the gum and a tooth)
-Reveal other developmental abnormalities, such as cysts and some types of tumors
In children, dental X-rays are used to:
-Watch for decay
-Determine if there is enough space in the mouth to fit all -incoming teeth
-Determine if primary teeth are being lost quickly enough to allow permanent teeth to come in properly
-Check for the development of wisdom teeth and identify if the teeth are impacted (unable to emerge through the gums)

3. Dentist will exam your teeth and describe to you the work needed to be done along with preventative procedures needed.

4. At this point treatment plans will be provided and explain the breakdown of the worked needed to be done along with pricing.

5. With the decision of the patient we will take the necessary steps in starting the procedure/service or will schedule to a later date for services to be rendered.

Thank you for all the support and considering us as your dental office =)
