The winery is under construction and is scheduled to open the middle to late March, 2013. Solterra is located two blocks from the beach and will be a fully operational urban winery and tasting room. The restaurant is going to serve flavorful Mediterranean tapas that will be matched to the types of wines that we produce.
The Solterra wines will be from grapes sourced locally in San Diego County and Valle de Guadelupe, Mexico. The other two brands that will be featured are Christopher Cameron Vineyards and Costa Azul wines. Christopher Cameron Vineyards was established in 2002 and the wines are produced exclusively from grapes that our family grows on the Van Alyea Ranch in Dry Creek Valley. Costa Azul wines were first released in 2005 and are typically single vineyard designates from vineyards in the central and north coast regions of California.
