Soma Vida opened its doors in June 2008, making it the first official coworking location in Austin, Texas.

Our founder/creator, Laura Shook Guzman, launched Soma Vida as a single mom and was inspired to create a coworking community after observing and experiencing, first hand, the value of co-living with other single mothers.

Soma Vida is the first, wellness coworking community of it’s kind and has been a resource and inspiration to other coworking communities, around the world.

With 20+ healing modalities under one roof, an integrative work/life philosophy, on-site yoga and community acupuncture clinic, a vegan food truck and membership consisting of 90% wellness entrepreneurs, we are definitely Austin’s healthiest coworking community.

We rent offices for short term or long-term to entrepreneurs. Whether you need to rent an office once a week for a private client, a yoga studio for or other room for workshops, we've got a space just for you.

We also rent space for events such as: classes, workshops, parties, weddings, corporate trainings, Gallery showings, photography shoots, marketing launches, festivals and pop-up shops.
