Sindy & Kelly have always loved making people smile.
In 2014, after dedicating their lives as veterinarians to caring for our furry, four legged companions, Sindy and Kelly decided to pursue their passion of creating frozen deserts.
East meets West as Sindy, a New York transplant with a flair for frozen flavor, and Kelly, an avid West Coast cook and dessert diva, decided to collaborate and create Sonny’s Amazing Italian Ices & Cremes.
But Sonny’s is no new creation - frozen treats run in the family. Sindy’s father, Nat, owned and operated an ice cream manufacturing company for many years. Nat was famous for his creative desserts; his claim to fame was serving ice cream for the opening of New York City’s iconic Verrazano Bridge! While he loved New York City, Nat always dreamed of expanding to California. Today, Nat’s legacy lives on in Sherman Oaks with Sonny’s Amazing Italian Ices & Cremes!
