We are a national organization of men and women who represent 26 million Americans of Italian heritage, dedicated to promoting our culture, our language, and the legacy of our ancestors. We raise money for medical research, disaster relief, cultural preservation projects, local scholarships and a study abroad partnership that offers opportunities for students and adults to study, live and work in Italy. We are the oldest fraternal order of American Italian extraction in the United States. We were founded in New York State, June 22, 1905, by Dr. Vincenzo Seltaro. We are also the largest fraternal order of American Extraction in North America with over 2,200 Lodges in the U. S., Canada and Bermuda. A non-political, non-partisan organization that truly represents Americans of Italian extraction, we come from all walks of life, from judges, doctors, lawyers to laborers, housewives and construction workers.
