SOS CLUB Inc

We are the SOS Club, Inc., of Salem, Oregon. Founded in 1957 by a small group of local business people who were battling their addiction to alcohol and other substances. Their desire was to have a club atmosphere similar to that of an Elks or Eagles club, safe from the alcohol found there.

Since that time, we have kept our doors open through fund raisers, donations and club membership dues. We serve any person in our community who has an interest in learning how to live without drugs and/or alcohol by offering a safe haven for meetings, socializing, etc. Many of our visitors are ordered to come find us, or the various programs who have their meetings in our clubhouse, directly from the Marion and/or Polk County court houses. Parents who are working with the Department of Human Services to regain custody of their children as a direct result of their battle with addiction.
