Soul Flow Healing Thai Massage

Soul Flow Healing was conceived to offer the benefits and the experience of Thai bodywork in a space created to support my clients in a safe and healing atmosphere.

The practice of Thai massage is unique as it rarely uses oils or lotions and the recipient remains clothed while lying on a soft supportive mat on the floor. There is constant body contact between myself and my client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked in order to clear energy blockages and relieve tension. I use my thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to create a dance of movement on the body of the recipient. In this process, joints are opened, muscles and tendons are stretched, internal organs are toned, and energy is balanced. The overall effect is one of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and physical and mental well being.

I have studied with many teachers and am well versed in both Traditional and Therapuetic Thai bodywork. This allows me to tailor each session to what the person needs and wants at the time.

-People of all ages can benefit from this work

-Sessions can range in length anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, Depending on the time & needs of the client.

***After a Thai massage, you should drink plenty of water. An epsom or sea salt soak (2+ cups) is also recommended to help with detoxification. You may feel some soreness or discomfort for the first 24 hours, especially in areas where you have had problems. After that, you should feel relaxed and rejuvenated !!***

A wonderful addition to a session is Thai Herbal Compress (LPK). Hand made in Thailand from freshly dried herbs, wrapped in balls of cotton muslin.

The bundles are steamed to release essential oils and aromas. It is Aromatherapy, Thermal therapy and Herbal therapy all in one! When rolled directly onto the body it aids in stress relief, soothing sore aching muscles, reduvcing inflammation, exhaustion & other ailments.

REIKI (Universal Life Force Energy)

Reiki is the act of laying on of hands at many different positions throughout the body with the intent to heal. It aids in clearing negative energy blocks which helps promote harmony in the body, mind & spirit. Bringing you back to a state of balance.
