More about South Bowl

Come down to South Philly and explore the repurposed Thomas Colace warehouse now inhabited by South Bowl, a new multi-functional events & bowling venue from the same creative minds of North Bowl. An expansive open-air warehouse is made modern with industrial twists. Exposed beams grace the large curved wooden ceiling, as futuristic lights hang seemingly mid-air. The old Thomas Colace warehouse has its own home in the history of South Philly, and the Daskals pay homage to it by integrating aspects of the original architecture into the new venue. With crisp contrast between clean updates and the original industrial touches, large windows let in bright light and views of the up and coming neighborhood.

No shortage of stunning views, a wooden rooftop deck invites visitors to take in the Philadelphia skyline, and watch life around the landmark stadiums. Inside, handcrafted artisanal touches attract the eye--from simplistic tile mosaics, to subtle splashes of bold color.

As a multi-functional events venue, entertainment options are abundant. 26 state of the art QubicaAMF bowling lanes fill up two floors of the warehouse, while two private bowling areas can be booked for parties. While the venue can be enjoyed any day or night of the week, the options offered as a private events space are endless. Tasteful decor suits any event at all times of the day, from a wedding, to a corporate event, to a birthday party. Optional blacklight settings make the lanes a fun space for those looking to really get their party on.

Various games fill the two floors of the warehouse, including darts, pinball, retro arcade games, billiards, and air hockey. A mezzanine level holds its own bar and a balcony offering clear overhead views of the lanes. A cozy stage soon to be graced by Philadelphia musical talent can be found on the first floor, with integrative and crystal clear sound systems installed throughout every inch of the venue.

Housing a custom pizza brick oven, fine dining is certainly not skimped on at the new location. Separate dining areas have no shortage of seating. Updated menus include fusion dishes and carefully crafted drinks. A hand-crafted industrial bar offers a meticulously chosen seasonal selection of beers on tap, with five large HD TVs overhead.

The chameleon of venues, opportunities for entertainment and fun at South Bowl are endless.
