The South Suburban Park and Recreation District serves more than 152,000 residents in a 42 square mile area of south metro Denver, Colorado.
We provide parks and recreation services to the towns of Bow Mar and Columbine Valley, the cities of Littleton and Sheridan and the western portions of Centennial and Lone Tree. We also serve several unincorporated portions of Arapahoe County, Douglas County, and Jefferson County.
We maintain nearly 3,800 acres of developed and open space land, which includes more than 100 parks and the 880-acre South Platte Park, 88 miles of trails and 60 playgrounds.
We also operate a variety of recreational facilities including four golf courses, four recreation centers, four outdoor pools, four restaurants, three tennis centers, two ice arenas, two miniature golf courses, batting cages, a sports dome, BMX track, hotel, nature center and an entertainment center.
Along with trails, parks, open spaces and recreational facilities, we offer a wide variety of cultural, fitness, sports and recreational activities, programs, and classes for all ages and skill levels.
