South Toledo Bend State Park

South Toledo Bend State Park is beautifully located on the Toledo Bend Reservoir.
We have 19 cabins that accomodate 8 guests. One bedroom has a queen sized bed that will accomodate 2 guests, the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds that accomodate 4 guests. The sofa opens out to accomodate 2 guests.
We have 55 campsites that each have a 20, 30, and 50 amp. breakers. Two of these sites,
# 33 and # 54 are handicap accessible.
We also have 5 primitive sites, one that is handicap accessible. None of our sites have sewer, but we do have a dumping station.
The park also has a boat launch, fishing piers, floating docks, comfort station/laundry room, 2 playgrounds, and a beach area.
A lovely Visitor's Center overlooks the lake and a fellowship room shares the beautiful breezeway. The fellowship room rents for wedding, reunions, and get togethers. It comes with tables and chairs to accomodate 60 guests. It has a refrigerator, cooking stove, and counter tops to prepare and serve food .
Programs are often held here at the park to which park guests and the community are always invited to attend.
We have hiking trails and paved walking trails as well.
Our beautiful park hosts Bald Eagles and their families, seen in and around the park .
