South Valley Community Church

The South Valley Community Church (originally the First Baptist Church of Lemoore) was established in 1886 as part of the American Baptist Churches USA. Although we no longer maintain formal relations with the denomination, we are in association with “Growing Healthy Churches.” GHC is committed to growing healthy churches by networking, resourcing and encouraging churches in the areas of growth, health, transformation and church planting.
Why Not Just be an Independent Church?

We are an independent church! Every Baptist church is completely independent. There is no denominational control or hierarchy, as there are in most other denominations. Each church is self-governed and determines its own affairs.
