Southbound Leather Company is a small leather shop located in Rural Hall, NC. In the South, we move a little slower and appreciate the simpler things in life. Southbound Leather Co. is about traveling back to a time and place where things were more than simple possessions. It’s about going back to when the things we use in our daily lives were made with quality and built to stand the test of time. A time when things were made well enough, not just to last you, but to pass down to future generations. The item’s we use should be simple and be as functional as they are appealing. It is in the simplicity of design that we often find a common items real beauty.

Southbound Leather Co makes a variety of products. Take your time and look around. You will see I make everything from motorcycle bags, holsters, belts, wallets, hair accessories, and handbags to phone cases. You can see more of my items at www.southboundleather.com. The line of products I offer changes and grows constantly. To be honest, I’d get pretty bored if I only offered one or two different products. As I have new ideas, see a need, or have a request, I design and produce new items.

Many of the items listed on my site are made to order items, which means they are made as I receive orders. I tend not to take any item off of the site. It’s a good way to show the work I’ve done and what can be done. By the nature of any natural products, some variation may exist. That’s the great thing about a real leather product: each one is unique due to the inherent nature of leather.

Other items on my site are already made and in stock. These items typically ship in 1-3 business days.

I do accept custom orders. In doing custom work, I have discovered there are generally two types of consumers of custom goods. Many are so accustomed to the mass produced restrictions that we limit ourselves way too much and have no creativity. On the other end of the spectrum, some customers hear the word custom, and for some reason think the laws of physics do not apply. It’s comical. So, please limit your imagination only to the laws of physics. So, if there is an ideal belt, wallet, holster, bag or whatever that you have always wanted, I would love to hear from you. Custom orders do carry an additional cost, as a large part of the time and expense in creating a product is in the design process.

Holster disclosure - Guns, by their nature are not dangerous, however, the improper handling of them can be deadly. Southbound holsters are fitted to replica guns or actual firearms. (Firearms and replicas shown in pictures are not for sale and are shown for demonstration purposes only). Please, take care in ensuring the hoslter will fit your weapon, prior to ordering. Depending on the style of holster, the holster may be tight...it should be for good retention. Always test the fit of the holster with an unloaded and safe weapon.
