I was born in the Southern Appalachians and have fly fished their creeks and rivers since an early age, I have been building rods off and on for many years, and have set up a shop in my home to take custom orders on a limited basis. My rods are built from quality blanks, components, etc. all to your individual specifications and are heavily influenced by my years of experience fishing in the southern Appalachians!
I can build a wide range of graphite rods from inexpensive, imported blanks to American made craftmanship oriented works of art. I can build modern glass rods from many of the top American makers. I can hunt you up a bamboo blank as well. Keep in mind that specifically what you want, will dictate what the rod costs.
Graphite rods are running $150-$500 depending on your specifications
Fiberglass rods typically run $200-$300 (I can build an 8' 5weight 2pc rod for less)
Bamboo rods will run around $600
